After blogging about Rome a couple of weeks ago; I realised that I seem to have very few photos of my vacation in Rome. After developing my film rolls; I realised that, that's where most of the photos are! This is  the first time that I am experimenting with a film camera; which I've got off from eBay for a mere AUD$90; and the results are amazing! (And of course, I'm so glad that my Manual Focus skills have improved, drastically; I kid you not) At the risk of having a couple of angry Romans at hand; I would have to say that, although the ancient city is not as pretty as Florence or Venice; there is a certain rustic charm to it. I can never get enough of the centuries-old architecture, buildings; and even steps. Though I did not go up the Basilica San Paolo, the view from the top of the Spanish Steps were breathtaking enough. I love how in Rome, or in Italy for that matter, one can take endless pictures of alleys, old walls, and the buzz of the people around. One of the many thing that I love about having a blog is how it helps to jog your memory; and looking through these photos, I can almost imagine the hot Italian sun, beating down on my skin,  remember how my feet hurt, walking on the cobblestones; the sounds of the passionate exchange of Italian around me. Viva l'Italia! I definitely missed You.

 Tony & Patrina, with their beautiful children, (from left) Bella, India & Lancer; Hong Kong;
St. Mark's Square, Venice, Italy

I rarely take pictures of kids, much less with their families; simply because, there is no simple way of asking the adults if I could take a picture of their kids, just because they look so cute in their outfits. (I mean, who can blame them; plus, I haven't really tried asking) I first spotted Tony, in his perfectly summery shirt, chinos and gorgeous leather loafers. Then, I saw a cute mini-me beside him, dressed almost the same way! Looked in front of them and I saw Patrina in her gorgeous dress, with her two little girls in matching sandals, all three of them wearing sunnies. Yes, I just had to take a picture of them. This is a Mom & Dad with impeccable taste; and kids who are stylish to boot too!

    Annyeong! (no idea what's hello in italian =P)

    Beautiful photographs, and the two pictures of Kim are lovely too! And yes, the main reason I still keep my blog is because I like to read the old posts filled with so much memories. Anyway, just popping by to say hello! The final picture is sooooo cool!
