Sunday Social

Recently, Addy contacted me to help her with the styling of a vintage photo shoot that she was doing to build up her portfolio; and as you can imagine; sourcing for the vintage clothes for the shoot was like a dream come true.

We headed down to Sunday Social, a little vintage shop tucked away in a corner of Winn Street, Fortitude Valley. Located at Little Jane Street right next to the Flamingo Cafe, Sunday Social is stocked full of beautiful vintage clothes, which the owner, Jessica, has sourced for them mainly from the States. It is a beautiful shop and stepping inside, you are instantly attracted to the table in the centre of the shop, where you can find beautiful, ornate rings, gorgeous silky scarves and bags from the bygone era.

Running my hands over the silk tops, dresses and paisley prints; I have no idea where to start and I was spoilt for choice! Imagine, being able to pick up just six or seven items; it was more like a nightmare (how can I just pick up a couple from the entire shop?!), but of course, I was flipping through the hangers with glee.

We just did the shoot on Saturday, and from what I see, the photos have turned out amazingly well! Can't wait to be able to share our first photo shoot; definitely one of my proudest moments, seeing the models so beautifully dressed up, gorgeous hair and makeup to boot;p

Aaaaaah styling is always so fun ESPECIALLY whe you have the whole shop to raid from lol. AND its a vintage store! Win-WIn I say lol. I agree with Winnie hun, you really are a pretty girl, looking at the clothes on the racks is almost too much, I just want to leap through the laptop and into the image itself haha
