I seriously have the best time with this girl when she was in town a couple of weeks ago. Some of the best ideas are formed over late night bobba tea stops at chinatown and that's how I got to venture to New Farm for the first time with Fei for a mini shoot. It was a great idea, too bad about the weather. By the time we hopped off the bus, the sky was so threatening and lightning bolts were zinging across the sky. That was also the first time which I saw (and got hit) by hail. The storm was so big and the sound was incredibly loud. But of course, it was really beautiful when the hail hit the streets and the both of us just stood by, watching the storm in silent awe.

Of course, that didn't stop us, and we decided to try for another at Macquarie Street; this time, for a sunset shoot. It was really peaceful, and with the setting sun, the lights, and the beautiful jacarandas in bloom; the quiet residential estate is just that much more beautiful. Really glad that we found a little private slice of heaven when we wandered down one the paths and there was just a ledge separating us from the Brisbane River (Fei was a little freaked actually...) Houses along the river really do have rooms with a view; it must be heaven, being able to stare out to the river and unwind after a long day.

I've still got tons of photos from the mini shoot on film rolls which I've yet to develop. Really have to get about doing it soon; I'm so excited with how the photos will turn out... But in the mean time; I guess I won't be posting till... Next week; or so. Finals are coming soon. I just want to thank my lucky stars that I've got one paper. It's Economics for Tourism so, I guess that makes up for it. Wish me luck! xx
