Absolutely obsessed with Swedish apartments nowadays and this particular one is no different; it consists of some of the elements which I love, brick walls, white-washed, minimalistic, airy space, and burst of colours. This apartment is so simply done up, so fancy-free; but I love how it is still so chic and modern. Now... If only my first apartment could be like this.... (Definitely keeping those fingers crossed!) x

However, I love it too much to not share on here; the use of space, and different elements is just too brilliant! Definitely jealous of the people who get to live in these little piece of heaven. x

Going for a mini vacation to the Whitsundays with the girls next week, and I'm in a holiday mood already! Saw these photos of an old Queenslander in Byron Bay, and the house- epitomises how I feel right now. More than "country style", I feel that old Queenslanders exudes a certain... Charm, of the Aussie spirit. I love how the space is made up to look a little undone, or more of an organised mess. I don't know- I guess my heart's already in Whitsundays. Although I'm staying in a backpackers, this is exactly how I imagined a vacation to the Whitsundays should be(; x

When I saw these photos off Home & Decor, I honestly couldn't believe that this little slice of heaven, is found in Singapore! Again, there are lots of wood, timbre accents used here, but I love how the home owner had designed his home, in relation to the lush greenery surrounding this space. The magazine had called this space, "lounge-like", and I couldn't agree more. With the careful choice of furnitures, ornaments and landscaping, the integrity of this home and its environment couldn't be more perfect.

Friday's Interiors

I guess, I'm really big on using wood accents in a space, as I believe that it really pulls the entire apartment together. Wood-on-wood, and black and/or white walls, with steel accents, and brass ornaments really exudes a warm, cosy feel; and it is no different in the case of this refurbished office bar. What Brooklyn based designer, Jen Chu did in this space is just jaw dropping, and it's amazing what one can do, with recycled wood. Two thumbs up! x

Was taking a break from my report and doing some research on Sydney, when I chanced upon this Sydney inner city home. When I saw the first picture of the living room, I couldn't believe how much beauty could fit into a single space. At first glance, it looks like museum, or a show room, with all the pretty paintings, ornament, and accents... But, I love how warm and cosy it looks at the same time. There's so much beauty in this house that flows effortlessly from one room, to the other. My favourite space has got to be the kitchen. All that wood, granite, steel coming together, and it's amazing how you could have a "centrepiece" in a kitchen, of all places!

I've always loved the concept of a bright, airy space, and one that is decorated with framed, quirky prints and flowers with names much fancier than mine (at least for me;p). This Swedish apartment may not be as fancy as the other ones that I've posted, and yet... It is so... Quietly, stunning.  (And anyone who says that white is boring, really ought to be shot!) I love how, the centre pieces of the apartment is in the wooden furnitures- look at how it really stands out in this airy white space.

When I saw Michael of 47 Park Avenue 's apartment; what I couldn't get my eyes off, was his stunning bedroom/bathroom concept. Taxidermy-staring-at-you while you have a bath aside; this concept is so refreshingly minimalistically/modern. Well- as minimalistic as you can get in NYC, I suppose. What Michael had done to renovate and refurbish the place is so amazing, he most definitely deserves a prize of some sort. As Michael is away on a holiday... I think the place is still a work in progress, as there are no updated posts on the apartment- but do track him on his design journey by going over to his blog! x

Although J Crew's Creative Director, Jenna Lyons have put up her beautiful, four-storey Brooklyn home on the market after her divorce with her artist husband, Vincent Mazeau late last year, I still can't get the stunning interiors of her townhouse out of my mind after reading chancing upon it in Vogue. The townhouse is like an extension of Jenna's personality; beautifully decorated with quirky knick knacks and custom made artifacts. I love Jenna's use of colours, patterns and lighting to fill up the empty spaces in the different rooms- and my favourite have got to be her bedroom. Before looking at the editorial, black would have to be the last colour that I would think of, if I had to choose a colour for my walls. And yet, the black chalkboard paint that Jenna and Vincent had chosen for their bedroom and their son; go so well with the interiors. It's amazing how much gorgeousness can fit, into this not so little humble abode. I'm definitely jealous of the next family that move into this lovely space. x

The Glow is an amazing website which showcases the homes of famous moms and their tods, and the interviews are focused on the mother-child relationships. There's something so close knitted, so organic about how The Glow is constructed, that I never fail to go back and look at all those beautifully decorated homes again and again.

Christiane Lemieux's SoHo's loft is a favourite of mine; and I just have to share it here;

Note to Future Husband of Mine: I want a dining room just like that; floor to ceiling bookcases are just, that beautiful.
