Absolutely obsessed with Swedish apartments nowadays and this particular one is no different; it consists of some of the elements which I love, brick walls, white-washed, minimalistic, airy space, and burst of colours. This apartment is so simply done up, so fancy-free; but I love how it is still so chic and modern. Now... If only my first apartment could be like this.... (Definitely keeping those fingers crossed!) x

So, strictly speaking, this collection of photos are not from the same house; but from the same interior designer... However, I love it too much to not share on here; the use of space, and different elements is just too brilliant! Definitely jealous of the people who get to live in these little piece of heaven. x

Flower Power

Floral 2

This may seem like Blogger Suicide when you think about it... But oh well, I have to come right out and say that, nope, I'm not exactly the trendiest person you can find around. I have a uniform of pants and maxi skirts that I stick to, which I mix it up with what I feel comfy in. At the moment, it's sweaters, and 3/4 sleeved, dip hemmed blouses. So, it may seem a bit much, when I actually, genuinely, fell in love with the floral-on-floral look! (Jeez, come to think about it, I actually considered buying the entire floral pant suit from ASOS... Hmm.) So, being the ever rational/non-impulsive buying consumer; when I saw this floral shirt on eBay, I knew, that it's for me. I was a little worried that the chiffon would be of crap quality, but thank goodness, it isn't! The buttons may look a little funny... But I shan't be too bothered by it. I reckon it's about enough to tide me over my floral frenzy.

Go on, take a look, you know you want to(; x

When I saw Michael of 47 Park Avenue 's apartment; what I couldn't get my eyes off, was his stunning bedroom/bathroom concept. Taxidermy-staring-at-you while you have a bath aside; this concept is so refreshingly minimalistically/modern. Well- as minimalistic as you can get in NYC, I suppose. What Michael had done to renovate and refurbish the place is so amazing, he most definitely deserves a prize of some sort. As Michael is away on a holiday... I think the place is still a work in progress, as there are no updated posts on the apartment- but do track him on his design journey by going over to his blog! x

Wearing: Top (Zara), Shorts (Mooloola), Shoes (Topshop)

I don't think I've ever done an outfit post with so many pictures of myself; but I'm absolutely in love with these shorts that I've got, that I can't pick one good shot. (Big thanks to Kim, for the photos!) They're absolutely the worst kinds of shorts to get- the thread snags really easily; but how could I say no, to the gorgeous, Missoni inspired, zigzag design and lovely, Fall colours? I thought so. The fact that I got them for $20 is just, a dream.

Took a break from my Economics textbook and Kim & I headed down to Frankie Magazine's Finders Keepers Market down at the Old Museum. Definitely one of the best decisions ever; though I'm about a hundred dollars poorer now. There were about 60 stalls selling an eclectic mix of clothes, crafts & jewellery and they were definitely all one of a kind. Of course, you know what's coming; the photos are all in my film camera; so I'll be coming back to do a Finders Keepers post in a couple of weeks' time; (fingers crossed!)

On a side note; I'm not an accessory kind of girl; but I've managed to splurge on two bracelets by Melbourne based designer, Julie Wee. For those of you who love geometric designs and thin bracelets, Miss Wee is definitely your place to go, so here's a little shout out to Miss Wee, do head over to their website for a look! I can't stop looking and touching my new babies now;p

Emma, Brisbane, The Old Museum;

It was only when I saw Emma for the third time, that I decided to get a picture of her. Her curls (especially from the back of her head) were just so crazy, but so right for her outfit. Absolutely in love with the 80s' vibe that she's got going there; and isn't what she's wearing perfectly casual cool?!

Alrighty, break's over; back to my book! Have a lovely weekend everyone! xx

ALEXIS magazine is one of the rare publications around; that is truly, conceived in Singapore. Having said that, it is also, definitely, one of the best thing that has happened in the local fashion scene in a long long time. It is no coincidence that NYLON would be launched in Singapore soon too; and when that happens, it will be interesting to see how both magazines pit or work with each other because their concept is so similar; (although Alexis does not focus on music!)

Launched approximately four/five months ago; it is gathering a strong following in Singapore; thanks to their coverage of fashion and lifestyle which veer from what you usually see in other magazines around. No thanks to Xavier's girlfriend, Raine, who is visiting from Singapore; I've managed to lay my hands on a copy of ALEXIS! And it is just like what everyone is raving about; it is fantastic

Though I have a paper looming on Saturday; I know I have to get some scans up on the blog. I truly love their editorials; not just for the models, or the clothes; but more of the photography, location and concept that is behind the entire shoot. Although I'm not in Singapore at the moment; I'm also excited that majority of their stuff featured are not only gorgeous; but surprisingly affordable too! (No crazy $500 shirts or $1000 bags featured here)- And being someone who is crazily in love with the idea of gorgeous interior design; I love the Hidden Fantasy spread, which is shot by my incredibly talented friend, Jeslin, whom you may have seen here. And of course, how can I forget to mention the cute and fun illustrations which the uber talented Emilia Chong had done for the beauty spread?

Needless to say, like legions of fans out there; I can't wait for Vol. 005 of ALEXIS.
