These are the last batch of photos which I've taken from my film camera; a Pentax ZX-7, which I've gotten from eBay, for those who are asking. There's Verona, a little bit of a medieval festival in Siena, and of course, Venice. Somehow, the photos are clearer, the colours are richer, and I don't know if I'm feeling sentimental, (or perhaps, sitting at Starbucks with a skimmed Green Tea Latte in front of me is getting me in the mood) but gosh, I miss Venice so much, looking at these photos.

Things are so much more colourful, more rustic, and yet, more romantic; perhaps it's the idea of going away on a European getaway that gets people. Looking back at the photos, I wished that I'd have taken more pictures on my Pentax; (I haven't got around to developing the black and white films) and I know that as of now, I'd be staring at the second last photo; and wishing that I could somehow, magically, arrive in Venice again. That, by the way, is my favourite picture from the vacation.

I love how a great holiday does that for you. Think of your favourite vacation; close your eyes, and think about it. The things that come into mind, are probably not the iconic landmarks, not the Eiffel Tower, not the Big Ben, but are most likely than not, the feeling, the buzz you have inside you, as you walk towards the Eiffel Tower, that special place. The feeling you have, as your boots squish into the sodden snow; or even the good laugh you've had with your family and friends, over a nice warm cup of coffee, or over a few rounds of drinks.

I love how, these are your memories to keep, and they only belong to you. Many people would have gone up to the Eiffel Tower, or seen Venice from the top of the Rialto Bridge, but the sights and sounds, and the memories you have of that place, are definitely yours. And that's priceless, these memories are your story to tell.

Of course, these are also the last batch of the street style photos which I've got; and I've got to admit that I definitely miss the act of chasing someone down the street and taking their picture.  (I have to get my act together in Brisbane!) It's such a great way to meet people from all over the world; (albeit it is a little strange, and tiring, having to sign, to get my idea across) but it is definitely worth it and their styles are so inspiring. I especially love seeing couples, dressed up together; complementing each other; without going down the path of wearing tacky (sorry!) matching clothes. Definitely refreshingly different.

When I was in Rome, I'm guessing that I miss Zara so much, I went crazy. Actually spent  €150 at one shot; (don't ask, don't tell) and one of my favourite purchases is this crisp, white boxy shirt. Have been wearing lots of whites and you wouldn't believe how many variations of white tees I've got in my closet. (Now that's an idea, perhaps I should do a White Post someday...)

Special shoutout to darling Kim, for being such a great and patient photographer; and of course, for helping me to find gorgeous walls, to stand in front of(:

Wearing: Top, Pants & Clutch (Zara), Maxi Skirt, (Supre), Sunnies (Rayban), Scarf (Thrifted), Shoes (H&M), Rings (Sportsgirl & Market Stalls)

As you can tell, there's probably a reason why I don't call myself a "Fashion Blogger"; what with the same use/types of clothes that I constantly wear; hah. Lifestyle Blogger, now, that's much better. Got a certain ring to it, eh?;p

  1. Great post, the photos are amazing and I like your two outfits, they're so awesome, I adore the top from Zara and the Maxi from Supre.
A question, when you stop people to take pictures because you like how they dressed, what they say? how they feel? I'd be embarrassed, how do you do?
